Patrick Joseph Lafford SACKVILLE, NB - The death of Patrick Lafford, age 65, of Sackville occurred on Tuesday, July 24, 2007 at the Moncton City Hospital. Born in Fredericton, he was a son of the late Nelson and Marie (Sampson) Lafford. A school teacher, he taught in Belleville, ON, Grand Manan, NB, NBCC, Moncton and, Sackville, NB at Tantramar Regional Hight School and Mount Allison University. He coached football and basketball for many years. He was a member of the St. Vincent Roman Catholic Church, Sackville. Devoted to his family, he will be sadly missed by his wife, Patricia (Simon), Sackville; three sons, Joseph (Alexandra), John, and Charles (Susan Mills) all of Sackville; two daughters, Marie , and Elizabeth, both of Fredericton; three grandsons, William, Jeffrey and Thomas; three sisters, Shirley Constantino, Hamilton, ON, Lorraine (Francis) Quinn, Rothesay, NB and Catherine (Leo) Holland, Belleville, ON; a sister-in-law, Joan Lafford, Albert Mines, NB; nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by brothers, Wilfred, Gerald, Douglas and John and a sister Winnifred. The remains have been entrusted into the care of the Jones Funeral Home, 70 Bridge Street, Sackville (364-1300) from where visitation will be Thursday from 2 - 4 and 7 - 9 pm. A funeral Mass will be celebrated from St. Vincent's Roman Catholic Church, Friday, July 27, 2007 at 11 am. Burial in the Parish Cemetery.
