June Harriet Best 1937 - 2007 SACKVILLE, NB - June (Allen) Best, age 69, of Westcock, N.B., passed away suddenly at the Sackville Memorial Hospital on Friday, July 27th, 2007. Born in Timber River, N.B., on December 8th, 1937, she was the daughter of the late Winston and Ella (Tower) Allen. June was a member of St. Ann's Anglican Church, in Westcock, and volunteered with the ACW. She began working as a telephone operator in Port Elgin, N.B. and as an auditor at the T. Eaton Co. in Moncton, N.B. She was best known as a florist and business woman at the Flower Boutique, working alongside her husband, Andrew. Following her retirement from business, she was a care-giver for the elderly, and spent her leisure time with her family and friends. June will be sadly missed by her husband of thirty-seven years, Andrew Best of Westcock, N.B.; three sons, Eddie (Jackie)Cole of Sackville, N.B., Michael of Halifax, N.S. and Shawn (Shelby) of Collingwood, O.N.; sister, Gloria (Tom) Steep of Durham Bridge, N.B.; and several cousins, nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her first husband, Laurie R. Cole. Arrangements are entrusted to Campbell's Funeral Home, 89 Bridge Street, Sackville, N.B. (364-8188). Cremation has taken place. Visitation will be held from Campbell's on Monday, July 30th, 2007 from 7 to 9 PM. The funeral service will be held on Tuesday, July 31st, 2007 at 2 PM from St. Ann's Anglican Church in Westcock, N.B. Burial will follow in the Westcock Cemetery. Donations in memory of June may be made to the Westcock Cemetery, St. Ann's Anglican Church Hall or to the charity of one's choice.
