Francis Henry Breau
Francis Henry Breau 1927 - 2007 Francis Henry Breau of Protem Health Services, Gorge Road and formerly of Dieppe and Ste Foy, Quebec passed away peacefully at his residence on Monday, July 30, 2007 after a period of failing health. Born in Thompsonville, Conn., USA on June 18th, 1927, he was the son of the late Edmond and Alice (Auffrey) Breau. A graduate of St. Thomas University, University of New Brunswick, Laval University and University of Alberta (Edmonton), he was a high school teacher, school principal, Quebec provincial inspector of schools prior to his retirement from the management personnel of the Quebec Ministry of Education (School Organization Branch). He attended Saint Michael's Roman Catholic Church, Moncton where he was a former member of the Parish council he also served as a Warden of Saint Vincent's Parish, Sainte Foy, Quebec. Henry was predeceased by his wife, Bernice (Doucet) Breau in 1996. He is survived by one son, Francis (Genevieve) of St Redempteur, Quebec; two daughters, Janet Breau of St Foy, Quebec and Suzanne (Rick) Beck of Memramcook, NB; as well as a chosen, daughter Nancy Perrault (Lan) of Terrebonne, Quebec; one sister, Louise Breau-Bontes of Shediac Bridge; and nine grandchildren, Sabrina, Dany, Amily, Harris, Delphine, Christian, Maxine, Zachary and Florence; one great granddaughter, Sylvia; and several nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents and his wife, he was predeceased by his brothers, Raymond, Amos and John. Resting at Cadman Bowness Funeral Home (857-1110), 114 Alma Street Moncton. Visiting hours will be on Wednesday, August 1st from 7 to 9 pm and Thursday, August 2nd from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm. Parish Prayers will be held on Thursday evening at 8:30 in the funeral home. Funeral mass will be held at St Michael's Church Moncton on Friday, August 3rd at 10 am. Interment will be in Our Lady of Calvary Cemetery, Dieppe. Donations in Mr. Breau's name made to the Alzheimer's Society or the memorial of the donor's choice would be appreciated by the family.
