Daisy A. Steeves ELGIN, NB - Daisy A. Steeves, 98, of Elgin, passed away Sunday, August 5, 2007 at the K. E. Spencer Memorial Home, Moncton. Born in Lewis Mountain, she was the daughter of the late David Arthur and Minnie Lounsbury. She was a member of the Elgin Baptist Church. She is survived by granddaughters, Darlene Hawkins, Debbie Cary; grandson, Daryl Sproul; eight great grandchildren; three great great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband, Alvin Steeves; son, Murray Steeves; daughter, Evelyn Sproul; siblings, Myrtle, Mabel, Nellie, David, Elroy, Laura, Ralph, Gordon, Floyd. Funeral arrangements are entrusted to Armstrong's Funeral Home, Petitcodiac, where visiting hours will be held Monday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9pm. The funeral service will be held from First Elgin Baptist Church on Tuesday, August 7, 2007 at 2pm. Burial will be held at New Elgin Cemetery. www.armstrongsfh.com
