Audrey was born in Hillsborough on December 8th, 1946 the daughter of Evelyn May (Smith) Jonah and the late Leon Jonah. Audrey was never afraid to try anything. She worked as a heavy equipment operator in Alberta, she was an aerobics instructor for years, and also a tour guide. She was always full of life and loved the outdoors. She enjoyed fishing, cross country skiing, mountain biking, and the beach. She also really enjoyed driving in her jeeps, having had several over the years. She enjoyed playing the piano, which she did really well. She also had a love for all animals, especially her dogs. Audrey had a very outgoing personality and she will be remembered for her sense of humour and for her big generous laugh. Above all things she loved the times spent with her family. She was a perfect wife and mother and grandmother. Her memory will last forever and the good times will never be forgotten. She is now at peace cuddling with her beloved dog Ben. Besides her mother, Evelyn May Jonah of Hillsborough she will be deeply missed by her loving husband and best friend, Ralph; her cherished children, Terry Dixon-Parker (Mark) of Hillsborough and Jim Dixon (Dianne) of Montreal; and by her precious granddaughter, Emma; and sister, Joanne Price (Tom); and brother, Danny Jonah (Nancy), both of Hillsborough. She will also be missed by several aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews, and by her many close friends. Besides her father, Leon Jonah, she was predeceased by a sister, Jackeline "Jackie" Steeves. The family will be meeting with relatives and friends at the Albert County Funeral Home on Thursday, August 9th from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9pm for a time of sharing and reminiscing.
