George Allan Bannister 1955 - 2007 George Allan Bannister, of Riverview, passed away of a massive heart attack at his residence on Monday, August 13th, 2007 at the age of 51 years. Born in Moncton, NB on September 20th, 1955 he was the son of James Bannister of Pine Glen and the late Irene Bannister. He was a member of St. John The Baptist Anglican Church. Besides his father James he is survived by his common law wife, Wanda Mellish; son, Justin Bannister of Kentville, NS; step-daughter, Holly Mellish at home; brother, Russell Bannister; and sister, Vivian McDonald both of Red Deer AB; aunts, Beatrice (Harold) Trites of Pine Glen; uncles, Louis (Geraldine) Bannister, John (Louise) Bannister, and Henry Bannister all of Pine Glen; also by several nieces and nephews. Resting at The Riverview Funeral Home, 214 Pine Glen Rd. on Thursday August 16th, 2007 from 2 to 4 pm and 7 to 9pm. The funeral service will be held at The Riverview Funeral Home Chapel on Friday, August 17th, 2007 at 11:00 am. There will be a reception following the service.
