The death occurred peacefully, surrounded by her loving family, in Ottawa, February 18, 2009, of Dorothy Bernice Wellman (nee Gillespie), formerly of Hunter River, age 61 years. Dorothy was the loving wife of Kevin Wellman, Ottawa, and the beloved daughter of Lillian Gillespie and the late John, of Springvale, P.E.I. She was the cherished mother of Roy and Michelle Stordy; special grandmother of five; and the dear sister of Sam (Mary), Gloria Richard (Ronnie, predeceased), Donalda Doucette (Reggie), Marjorie Pound-Dionne (Marc), Valerie, Jim (Roxanne) and John Gillespie. In addition to her father, John, she was predeceased by her baby sister, Ruth. Interment took place in Ottawa.
