Estelle Landry 1924-2007 CAP PELÈ, NB - Estelle Landry, 83, wife of the late Rodolphe Landry of Bas-Cap-Pelé Rd., Cap-Pelé passed away suddenly on Thursday, August 16, 2007 at the Dr. Georges-L. Dumont Regional Hospital, Moncton. Born in Cap-Pelé, January 27, 1924, she was the daughter of the late François and Delphine (Donelle) Porelle. She was an avid Bingo player and loved bowling, cooking and knitting. She was a member of the Golden Age Club and she attended Ste. Thérèse d'Avila Roman Catholic Church in Cap-Pelé. She will be greatly missed by her loving family, five children, Alvin (Loretta) of Dieppe, Allard (Alva) of Cap-Pelé, Marcel (Roberta), Bernard (Kim) and Jeanne (Danny) Robichaud (with whom she resided) all of Bas-Cap-Pelé; one brother, Azor Porelle (Emerise) of Haute-Aboujagane; two sisters, Lorraine Doiron (Yvon) and Catherine Vienneau (late Laurie) all of Bas-Cap-Pelé; 12 grandchildren, Stephen, Lisa, Julie, Suzanne, Cynthia, Mireille, Maryse, Chantal, Christelle, François, Kevin, Marc; six great grandchildren, Sarah, Grace, Scott, Jérémie, Nicholas, Sébastien; several nieces and nephews; and by a sister-in-law, Mathilda Porelle (late Ernest) of Cap-Pelé. She was predeceased by her husband, Rodolphe (1974); and by a brother, Ernest Porelle. Visitation at Funérarium Frenette, 2642 Acadie Road., Cap-Pelé (577-3297) on Friday, August 17, from 2 to 4p.m. and 7 to 9p.m. and Saturday, from 10a.m. until time of departure. Funeral mass will be held at 11a.m. on Saturday, August 18, 2007 at Ste. Thérèse d'Avila Roman Catholic Church, Cap-Pelé. Interment will be in the parish cemetery.
