Richard LeBlanc 1927 - 2007 SAINT-ANNE DE KENT, NB - Richard LeBlanc, age 80, of Sainte-Anne de Kent passed away peacefully at the Stella Maris de Kent Hospital, Sainte-Anne de Kent on August 16th, 2007. Born in Sainte-Anne de Kent on June 15th, 1927, Richard was the son of the late Ferdinand and the late Virginie (née Richard) LeBlanc. He was a retired painter by trade for 30 years. He will be sadly missed by his wife, Jeannita (née Léger) LeBlanc; his two sons, Maurice LeBlanc and Marcel LeBlanc (Maria) both of Sainte-Anne de Kent; one grandson, Justin; two brothers, Alyre LeBlanc (Rhéa) of Downey, California, Alcide LeBlanc (Anne-Marie) of Moncton; five sisters, Elda Major (Charlie), Bernadette Oak (Larry), Léa Begin all of Lynn, Mass., Jeanne Jordon (Albert) of Marble Head, Mass., Marie-Paul Black (David) of Beverly, Mass.; and several nephews and nieces. Richard was predeceased by his loving daughter, Marcia (1977); and five brothers, Raymond, Alban, Ernest, Emile and Leonard. At the request of the family there will be no viewing at the funeral home. Funeral Mass will be held on Monday, August 20th, 2007 at the Saint-Jean Baptiste Roman Catholic Church, Bouctouche at 11:00 am. Interment will be in the parish cemetery.
