The death occurred at the Civic Campus Hospital, Ottawa, Ont., on Tuesday, Feb. 24, 2009, of Robert “Bob” MacEwen, of Fairlea Crescent, Ottawa, aged 54 years. Born in Moncton, N.B., he was the son of Kenneth “Ken” and Teresa “Terry” (Bataller) MacEwen, Summerside. Survived by his brothers, Blake, Traverse City, Michigan, Derek (Linda), Charlottetown, grandmother Winifred “Winnie” MacEwen, Halifax, nieces and nephews Megan Gallant, Moncton, Dylan, Brett and Niki MacEwen, Charlottetown. Resting at the Moase Funeral Home, Summerside, where a private funeral service will be held.
