Omar D. Dickson 1945-2007 ORANGEVILLE, ONT. - Omar Dennis Dickson, husband of Eva Dickson, of County Road, Orangeville, Ont., passed away in Orangeville, on Tuesday, August 28, 2007, at the age of 62. Born in Chatham, New Brunswick, on July 15, 1945, he was the son of Alvin and Kathleen (MacInnis) Dickson. He was truck driver by profession and a former employee of Beckers Dairy as well as an owner operator for Tri Mack Industries Ltd., both in Ontario. He is survived by his wife, the former Eva Williston; his parents, Alvin and Kathleen Dickson, of the South Napan Road, Napan, New Brunswick; one daughter, Tammy Rivest (Denis), of Orangeville, Ont.; two sons, Grant Dickson (Lori) and Michael Dickson (Marie), all of Toronto, Ont.; four grandchildren, Shelby, Kathleen, Olivia and Jesse; two sisters, Carolyn Taylor (Ron), of Fredericton and Marlene Dickson, of Burnaby, B.C.; one brother, Hugh Dickson (Colleen) of the South Napan Road; as well as numerous nieces and nephews, cousins, sisters and brothers in law. Visitation will be at Adams Funeral Home Ltd., 140 King Street, Miramichi, on Sunday, from 2 to 4 & 7 to 9 pm. Funeral service will be held from Adams Funeral Home Chapel, on Monday, September 3, 2007, at 2 pm, conducted by John Hiltz and Charles O'Regan. Interment will be in Pine Grove Cemetery, Miramichi, New Brunswick. As expressions of sympathy, donations to the Canadian Cancer Society, or any charity of the donors' choice, would be appreciated by the family.
