Rubina E. (Ruby) Jardine 1909 - 2007 MIRAMICHI, NB - Rubina Elizabeth (Ruby) Jardine, widow of the late Mackenzie (Mack) Jardine, of the Miramichi Senior Citizens Home, and formerly of the South Napan Road, passed away at her residence, on Friday evening, August 31, 2007, at the age of 97. Born in Napan Bay, on November 21, 1909, she was the daughter of the late Frank and Irene (MacInnis) Taylor. She was a homemaker and an adherent of Carmel United Church, Napan. She is survived by three sons, Mervyn Jardine (Claire), of Weldfield Road, Morris Jardine (Norma) and Ralph Jardine (Macrina), all of Napan; one sister, Lillian Morrison, of Miramichi; 11 grandchildren; 22 great grandchildren; one sister in law, Joyce Taylor, of Napan Bay; as well as many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband, Mack, in 1999; two sisters, Frances Gillis and Beatrice King; one brother, Allen Taylor; one grandson, Robert Jardine. Visitation will be at Adams Funeral Home Ltd., 140 King Street, on Wednesday only, from 2 to 4 & 7 to 9 pm. Funeral service will be held from Adams Funeral Home Chapel, on Thursday, September 6, 2007, at 2 pm, conducted by Rev. David Cleveland. Interment will be in Pine Grove Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy, donation to the Miramichi Senior Citizens Home, the Pine Grove Cemetery Fund, or any charity of the donors' choice, would be appreciated by the family.
