Anna Surette 1905 - 2007 Anna Surette, 101, of Résidence Bellevue, Dieppe, passed away on Wednesday, September 5th, 2007 at the Dr. Georges-L. Dumont Hospital. Born in Ste-Marie, NB, she was the daughter of the late Celestin and the late Virginie (née: Leger) Bastarache. She was a past member of Les Dames D'Acadie, St.-Vincent-de-Paul and founding member of the Club d'Age d'Or de Dieppe. She is survived by five daughters, Lena Elges of Riverview, Jeannine (Euclide) Gauvin, Florida Gagnon, Jeanne (Len) Arsenault, all three of Dieppe and Claudette Surette of Toronto; two sons, Harvey (Lil) of Windsor, ON and Emery (Ella) of Dieppe; 30 grandchildren; 59 great grandchildren; seven great great grandchildren; as well as by several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband, Albert in 1978; one daughter, Florence; two sons, Yvon and Alyre; six sisters, Elise, Annie, Marie, Emelia, Jeanne and Alexina; also by one brother, Alyre. Visitation will be held from Chartersville Funeral Home, 363 Amirault Street, Dieppe, NB 857-1901, on Friday, September 7th, 2007 from 2 to 4 pm and from 7 pm to 9 pm and also on Saturday from 10 am until time of service. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at the Ste Therèse Roman Catholic Church on Saturday, September 8th, 2007 at 11 am. Interment in Notre-Dame-Du-Calvaire Cemetery, Dieppe, NB.
