Muriel Viola Hurley 1913 - 2007 Muriel Viola Hurley, of Moncton, NB passed away peacefully in her sleep at The Kenneth E. Spencer Memorial Home early Sunday, September 9, 2007 at the age of 94 years. Born in Moncton, NB on January 16, 1913 she was the daughter of the late Harvey and Beulah (Ayles) Tower. She was a member of Highfield Baptist Church; also a member of The African Violet and the Horticultural Societies. Muriel will be remembered by many for her acts of kindness. A loving mother, sister, grandmother, great grandmother, and aunt, she will be sadly missed by her daughter, Gail Mather of Moncton; brothers, Elmer (Phyllis) Tower, Donald Tower, and Garnet (Barb) Tower all of Moncton; grand daughters, Beth (Mark) Amyot of Truro, NS, and Cynthia (Ralph) Bastarache of Onslow, NS; great grandchildren, Nicole, Drew, Bria, Emma and Pheobe; also by several nieces and nephews. Besides her parents she was predeceased by her husband, Ora Hurley in 1994; also by her son in law, Gordon Mather in 1993. Resting at Tuttle Bros. Funeral Home Tuesday September 11, 2007 from 7:00pm to 9:00pm. Funeral service will be held at Tuttle Brothers Memorial Chapel on Wednesday, September 12, 2007 at 1:00pm. Interment will be in Fair Haven Memorial Gardens. In Muriels memory, donations made to The Spencers Memorial Generator Fund or to The NB Heart and Stroke Foundation would be appreciated .
