Carl B. Hicks SACKVILLE, NB - Carl B. Hicks, 64 of Sackville, and formerly of Moncton passed away at The Moncton Hospital on Tuesday, September 11, 2007. Born in Midgic, he was the son of the late Medley and Leota (Wheaton) Hicks. Carl was a retired from Co-Op Atlantic Moncton (1996) with 33 years service. Carl was king of puttering, he enjoyed playing cards (45's), blue grass music, watching baseball and he loved to talk and barter with his friends. Carl will be sadly missed by his son, Stacey (Diane), Seaforth, NS; grandson, Lance; sisters, Donna Sears, Sackville; Catherine Wells (Victor), Center Village; brothers, Harold (Betty), Rocky Mountain House, AB, Claude (Margaret), Moncton, Leonard (Pat Ann); Baxter (Patsy), both of Sackville; several nieces and nephews. Besides his parents, he was predeceased by his wife, Barbara (Briggs) Hicks (March 2002); brother, Austin. No visitation by request. Funeral Service at Stilesville United Church, Saturday, September 15, 2007, 2pm. Rev. Sheila Redden-Smith officiating. Interment, Church Cemetery. Reception following the Cemetery Service.
