March 18, 1930 - March 9, 2009. Passed peacefully away in the loving arms of her family on Monday, March 9th, at the North Haven Manor, Lewisporte, Maisie Beulah Kendall, formerly of Change Islands. Leaving to mourn with many fond memories are her husband Gerald; five children: Lawrence Harris (Mary), Ted Harris (Eileen), Sandra Strickland (Hayward), Michelle Lilly (Scott), Robert Harris (Pam); six grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; two sisters: Greta Cave and Chole Wells; sister-in-law Dorcas LeDrew, special friends: Bessy and Lawrence Harris of New Chelsea and a large circle of other relatives and friends. Her remains are resting at Gordon Woolfrey Funeral Home, Lewisporte with public visitation from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. on Wednesday, March 11th and on Thursday, March 12th from 10 to 11 a.m. The funeral service will be held on Thursday, March 12th at 2 p.m. from the Salvation Army Citadel, Lewisporte. Interment to follow at the Salvation Army Cemetery, Lewisporte. As expressions of sympathy, flowers will be gratefully accepted. From the heart of our loving family, to the heart of her North Haven Manor Family, we “Thank-you” for providing such love, respect and dignity to our mother, Maisie.
