Passed peacefully away at the Hoyles Escasoni on Tuesday August 12, 2008. Annie Stacey of Garden Cove, aged 80 years. Predeceased by son Wayne. Leaving to mourn husband Alex; two sons: Ernest (Sylvia), David; daughter Margaret (Freeman); brother Jim Downey (Laura); sisters: Edwina Giles (Wilfred), Margaret Richards and Dorothy Elder; daughters-in-law Agnes and Judy; ten grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren, a large circle of relatives and friends, nieces and nephews. Resting at the United Church in Garden Cove. The funeral service will be held on Friday, August 15 with interment at the United Church Cemetery in Garden Cove. Donations in her memory may be made to the United Church in Garden Cove.
