NS NINA PEPPER DARTMOUTH
NINA PEPPER DARTMOUTH, NS - Nina Pepper, 87, of Dartmouth, passed away on Tuesday, September 25, 2007, at Carter Senior Care. Born in Moncton, NB, she was the daughter of the late Mabel Louise (Duffy) and Stanley Rutherford Hunter of Moncton. Nina was an avid reader, loved playing bridge, writing poetry, and spending time with family and friends. She was an employee of Nova Scotia Department of Fisheries in Halifax until her retirement in 1985. She is survived by her children; John, Patricia (Garry) Roberts, Michael (Judie), Brian (Cathy), and Jana (Curtis) Ashley; daughters-in-law, Norma (Walker) Pepper and Michelle (Guimond) Pepper; grandchildren, Gregory, Susan, Jason, Robert, Michael, Adam, Kyle, Christopher and Thomas; great grandchildren, Brandon, Emily, Nicholas, Colby, Emryss, Jacob, Drake, Brenden and Tara; several nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews. Nina was predeceased by her husband of 62 years, Victor George Pepper, who was also formerly of Moncton; two brothers, Rudolph and Ronald. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Atlantic Funeral Home, 771 Main Street, Dartmouth, where visitation will be held 7 to 9 pm Thursday. Funeral service will be held 2 pm Friday in the funeral home chapel, Reverend David LeBlanc officiating. Reception to follow in the Atlantic Funeral Home Family Reception Centre. Interment will be held at 2 pm Saturday, September 29, 2007, in Elmwood Cemetery, Elmwood Drive, Moncton. Dr. Richard Jackson of the First Baptist Church, Moncton, officiating. In lieu of flowers, a donation in Nina's memory may be made to the Heart & Stroke Foundation or Canadian Cancer Society.
