Romeo Vautour Romeo Vautour, 70 of Moncton passed away at the Dr. Georges-L. Dumont Hospital on Saturday, October 13, 2007. He was the son of the late Edgar and Zelma (Brine) Vautour of Port Elgin. He was a member of St. Augustine's Roman Catholic Church. Romeo had worked at Sumner Company and had 22 years of service at Lockharts and 3 years with Beaver Lumber. He spent 9 years doing volunteer driving for the Greater Moncton Volunteer Center and over the past 15 years he also volunteered with Habitat for Humanity, CNIB, Magma and other community organizations and charities. Romeo will be sadly missed by his wife of 41 years, Mary (Stevens) Vautour; daughters, Doreen, London, ON, Paula (Todd) Gautreau, Moncton; granddaughters, Kaleigh and Chelsie; half sister, Marilyn (Ed) Dupuis, Amherst and half brother, Roger (Linda) Moore, Amherst. Besides his parents he was predeceased by infant brother, Joseph; and brother, Arthur. Visitation at Ferguson Knowles Funeral Home 1657 Mountain Road (858-1995) on Tuesday October 16, 2007, 2 to 4, 7 to 9. Funeral Mass from St. Augustine's Roman Catholic Church on Wednesday October 17, 2007, 11am, Rev. Bernard Sloan officiating. Reception following the service. Interment in St. Clements Roman Catholic Cemetery in Port Elgin.
