BERNICE MARY CAMERON November 17, 1920 to October 21, 2007 Sadly, the families of Mrs. Bernice Mary Cameron, formerly of Moncton, N.B., announce her passing from this world, at Soldier's Memorial Hospital in Orillia, Ontario on October 21/07, after a lengthy & valiant struggle with Alzheimer's disease. Bea, as she was lovingly known by all, was predeceased by her husband, Wallace E. Cameron (Moncton), her parents, Alvin and Mary (Card) Plume (Havelock), and 8 brothers and sisters, Amy Plume (Havelock), Clifford (Kip) (North Bay, Ontario), Frank (Mannie) (Saint John, N.B.), Chesley (Hap) (Havelock), Eva Ginn (Havelock), Isabel Phillips (Grimsby, Ontario), Stella Keith (Havelock), and Bertha Pearson (Australia). She is survived by her two sons and their families, Reginald A. Cameron of Saint John, N.B. [wife, Marilyn and their two children, Jennifer and Jason (wife, Tina and their children)] and Brian W. Cameron of Barrie, Ontario [wife, Barbara and their three daughters, Lisa, Amy and Stacey (husband, Erol and their two sons, Kamuran and Taner)]. Kamuran and Taner will especially miss their "Nana", as she was lovingly known by them. Bea was a 50+ year active member of Wesley Memorial United Church in Moncton and led many committees with the UCW during her time there. Visitation will be held Oct. 24th/07 from 7:00 to 9:00 pm at Scott Funeral Home in Barrie, Ontario, where she will be cremated. Her ashes will be returned home to Fair Haven Funeral Home, 1177 Salisbury Rd., Moncton (506)-852-3530 where a memorial service, with Reverend Dr. Richard Griffin Alwood officiating, will be held on Saturday Oct. 27th at 2:00 pm to celebrate her life as a loving person who will be greatly missed by all who had the privilege of being a part of her life. Internment will take place at Fair Haven Memorial Gardens. The ladies from UCW at Wesley Memorial Church will be providing the refreshments after the service from the Garden View Reception Room. We thank Dr. Brand and the wonderful staff at Leacock Care Centre for their excellent care during these last few months, as well as the hospital and staff in Orillia. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to the Alzheimer Society of Greater Simcoe County (12 Fairview Rd. - Suite 103 - Barrie, Ontario L4N 4P3) would be appreciated.
