At Prince County Hospital, Summerside, on Wednesday, March 11, 2009, of Eleanor Carolyn Murray of St Lawrence, aged 81, wife of the late Keir Murray. Born in Miminegash on April 30, 1927, daughter of the late Tennyson and Minnie Costain. Cherished mother of Stanley, Lot 16; Hazel Smallman, Fort Saskatchewan, Alta.; Jean (Fred) Burns, Freetown; Alan (Perlita), Summerside; Karen (Elmer) Power, Mermaid; Harry (Lynda), Carleton Place, Ont.. Mother-in-law of Jean Murray, Summerside and loving grandmother of 11 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren. Predeceased by her sister Hilda and brothers Clifford, Ralph and Stanley. Resting at the Ferguson Funeral Home and Chapel, O’Leary with visiting hours Friday 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral on Saturday in the chapel at 11 a.m. Interment to follow in the Miminegash United Church Cemetery. Memorials to the cemetery fund or P.E.I. Lung Association would be appreciated.
