FRED DALE RACZ
Our beloved brother Fred passed away peacefully on Saturday March 7, 2009 at the age of 52. Fred was born in Kipling, SK. He will be overwhelmingly missed by his brother Art, (Kathy) Port Alberni, BC, sister Bonnie Racz, (Adrian Golbey) Mississauga, ON, brother Jack, Wrentham, AB, (who passed away on Mar 9, 2009), sister Sherrie Racz (Michal Lopianowski) Moose Jaw, and sister Tammie Cooper (Sheldon), West Bend, SK. Fred also has many nephews and nieces who were very important to him. Kimberlee Westphal (Brett), BC, Kara Racz, BC, Jennifer Jones (Martin), BC, Chad Racz, BC, Jackie and Kalman Regnier, SK, Anthony and Eliott Lopianowski, SK. Fred is predeceased by his parents, Kalman & Beulah Racz, Kipling, SK, brother Marlon, nephew Christopher Racz. Fred had many hobbies and interests; from collecting antique glassware and china, to restoring old Studebakers. His enthusiasm for flying was a main one, as he owned a paraglider. He was a technician with the Snowbird Air Demonstration team and would accompany them to air shows. Our Fred loved to cook. He volunteered much of his valuable time to teaching cooking classes at the MFRC at 15 Wing, and was always delivering goodies to various people or groups. Fred could not spend enough time outdoors, fishing camping, archery, cycling, canoeing, hiking, stargazing, snowshoeing and spending time at the family cabin. He usually had some assortment of siblings, nephews, nieces or friends to accompany him when he was enjoying nature. Visitation for family and friends will be held at W.J.Jones & Son Funeral Home, 106 Athabasca St. E. Moose Jaw, SK on Friday March 13, 7-9 pm. The Funeral Service will be held at Sunningdale Community Church, 61 Avens Road on Saturday March 14, 2009 at 2:00 pm. Internment will be at the Kipling Town Cemetery at 2 pm on Sunday, March 15, 2009. Donations can be made to the Kidney Foundation, 1 – 2217 Hanselman Court, Saskatoon, S7L 9Z9.
