Antoine Edmond LeBlanc
Antoine Edmond LeBlanc 1912 - 2007 Antoine Edmond LeBlanc, age 95, of Veteran Medical Centre, Moncton and formerly of Bouctouche Bay, passed away on November 11th, 2007 at the Veteran Medical Centre after a brief illness. He was married to the late Marie (Née Savoie) LeBlanc. Born on August 15th, 1912, he was the son of the late Joseph and the late Elodie (Née Gallant) LeBlanc. Antoine was a WWII veteran and a member of the Royal Canadian Legion. He is survived by three daughters, Irène Marceau (Mike) of Whitby, Ont., Louise Vainio (Paul) of Blanchord, ME, and Jeannine Mills of Bouctouche; one brother, Cyrus LeBlanc of Bouctouche Bay; four grandchildren, six great grandchildren, several nephews and nieces and a special family friend Daphne Caissie. Antoine was predeceased by one daughter, Lorraine (1938); one son Michel (2005); three sisters, Amanda, Emma, and Emilia; and four brothers, Theodore, Richard, Edgar and Ovila. Visitation will be held at Maillet Funeral Home Ltd., 29 rue de l'église, Bouctouche on Friday, November 16th, 2007 from 9 to 10:45 am. Funeral Mass will be held at the Saint-Jean Baptiste Roman Catholic Church, Bouctouche on Friday November 16th, 2007 at 11:00 am. Interment will be in the parish cemetery. In Antoine's memory, donations can be made to the Dr Georges L.-Dumont Foundation Veteran Centre.
