William P. Gallant 1916-2007 William P. Gallant, 91, of Villa du Repos, formerly of Virginia Street, Dieppe, passed away on Tuesday, November 13th, 2007 at his residence. Born in St. Philippe, NB, he was the son of the late Pierre and the late Marie-Rose (née Richard) Gallant. William was a parishioner of Ste.-Thérèse Roman Catholic Church. He will be sadly missed by his loving family; his wife, Thérèse (née Cormier); six daughters: Gayle (Bob) Scott of Moncton, Sheila (Lawrence) Forbes of Riverview, Judy (late Al) LeBlanc of Moncton, Maria Gallant, Rose-Marie (Terry) LeBlanc and Annette (Georges) LeBlanc all of Dieppe; two sons, Billy (Monette) of Dieppe and Roger (Don) of Moncton; one brother, Emmanuel (Louise) Gallant of Edmonton, AB; 13 grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; two great-great grandchildren as well as by several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by one daughter, baby Nancy; three sisters: Julie, Obéline and Léonise and also by seven brother: Théodore, Sylvère, Dolor, Alcide, Alban, François and Arthur. Visitation will be held from Chartersville Funeral Home, 363 Amirault Street, Dieppe, NB 857-1901, on Thursday, November 15th, 2007 from 7 to 9 pm and also on Friday from 9 am until time of departure. Funeral Mass will be celebrated from Ste.-Thérèse Roman Catholic Church on Friday, November 16th, 2007 at 10 am. Interment in Notre-Dame du Calvaire Cemetery, Dieppe, NB.
