Luba Lampert TORONTO, ON - Formerly of Moncton, passed away Saturday, November 24, 2007 in Toronto. The funeral service was held two days later. Luba was the beloved wife of Abe Lampert; loving mother of Bill (Pearl) and Ruth Mueller (David). She was the devoted grandmother of Rosalie (Ian) and Tara (Ryan), and great-grandmother to Tyler, Abby and Maggie. She was predeceased by her husband, Abe in 1997; brother, David Katz and his wife, Reva, and was the beloved sister-in-law of Harry and Florence Lampert of Montreal. Aunt of Irwin and Audrey Lampert, Beverly and Stephen Bratt, Barbara and Jerry Goffman and Judy and Eddie Majerfeld. Luba was born in Russia and settled at an early age with her family in Montreal. After marrying Abe, they moved to Moncton during the 1940's. They lived here for more than forty years, where Abe and Harry operated Lampert's Furniture Centre on Main Street.
