Ambroise "Brose" J. LeBlanc
Ambroise "Brose" J. LeBlanc 1920 - 2007 SHEDIAC, NB - Ambroise "Brose" J. LeBlanc, 87, of Chêne de Mambré, Shediac and formerly of Cap-Pelé passed away on Thursday, December 6, 2007 at the Moncton Hospital, Moncton following a brief illness. Born in Cap-Pelé, September 14, 1920, he was the son of the late Thomas and Scholastique (Cormier) LeBlanc. Ambroise served overseas in Italy from 1943 to 1945 with the Royal Canadian Army as a Private 1st Class. He was a life member of the Royal Canadian Legion, Branch # 91, Cap-Pelé. He was a retired employee with Dept. #5 Supply Depot in Moncton and a commissioner with D.S.S. in Shediac. He will be sadly missed by his loving family, five children, Patricia LeBlanc (Steve) of Whitby, ON, Michel LeBlanc (Lucie) of Shediac, Jacques LeBlanc (Jean) of Halifax, N.S., Caroline Nowlan (Roger) of Dieppe, Rose Cormier (Yvon) of Shemogue; six grandchildren, Janet, Charlene, Chantal, Marc, Michel and Luc; two great grandchildren, Bradley and Hugo; one brother, Freddie LeBlanc (Simonne) of Cap-de-Cocagne and several nieces and nephews. He also leaves behind his 2nd wife, Rose (Vautour) LeBlanc of Saint-Marcel and her children, Gloria Miller (Duane), Gisèle Thébeau (Lucas LeBlanc), Anne Goguen (Gérard), Alice Léger (Jacques) and Robert LeBlanc all of Saint-Marcel, and Bernard LeBlanc of Saint-André, and by several step-grandchildren and step-great-grandchildren. He was predeceased by his 1st wife and mother of his children, Berthe (Melanson) LeBlanc (1982); one brother, Pacific "Fic" Léger and a sister, Mélindé Duguay. Visitation at Funérarium Frenette, 2642 Acadie Rd., Cap-Pelé on Saturday, from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. Mr. LeBlanc's remains will be transfered to Frenette Funeral Home Ltd., 396 Main St., Shediac (532-3297) for visitation on Sunday, from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. and Monday, from 10 a.m. until time of departure 10:50 a.m. Funeral mass will be held at 11 a.m. on Monday, December 10, 2007 at Saint-Joseph R.C.
