Zilla Ruth Brewster 1914 - 2007 Zilla Ruth Brewster, 93, of Shepody passed away on December 11, 2007 at the home of her daughter Judith where she resided. Zilla was born in Toronto, Ontario on August 26, 1914 the daughter of the late Calvin and Gladys Ruth (Jackson) Detlor. She was trained at the Ontario College of Art and was a very skilled watercolourist. She was also a homemaker and cherished times spent raising her family. She was a beloved mother, grandmother and great grandmother who will be dearly missed by her four daughters, Judith Brewster of Shepody, NB, Cathleen Brewster of Toronto, Ont., Wendy Brewster of Virginia, USA and Patricia Brewster of London England; her six grandchildren and five great grandchildren. Zilla was the last surviving member of her generation. Besides her parents she was predeceased by her husband Wendell Moore Brewster and by her brother Murray Detlor. Honoring Zilla's own wishes there will be no visitation or Funeral Service.
