Yvonne M. Clements 1918-2008 Yvonne M. Clements, 89, wife of the late Arthur Clements of the Villa Providence, Shediac and formerly of Pointe-du-Chêne, passed away surrounded by her family at the Villa Providence, on Wednesday, January 2, 2008. Born October 7, 1918 in Grande-Digue, she was the daughter of the late Frank and Anna (Fougère) Clements. She is survived by six daughters, Dianna Gallant (Robert), Marlene Desimas (Manuel) of Shediac, Julie Gallant (Léonce), Nancy Gallant (late Robert), and Karla Arsenault (Luc) all of Pointe-du-Chêne, Shirley Wade (Emile) of Grand-Barachois; four sons, Edmond (Shirley), Ovila and Douglas all of Shediac, Roy (Gisèle) of Moncton; two sisters, Nelda Fougère of Pointe-du-Chêne, Bertha Gallant (Robert) of Shediac; one brother, Yvon Clements of Pointe-du-Chêne; 20 grandchildren, 22 great grandchildren, three great great grandchildren; a daughter-in-law, Cherie Clements of Pointe-du-Chêne and by several nieces and nephews. Besides her husband Arthur, she was also predeceased by two sons, Norman and Georges; six brothers, Edmond, Ted, Levi, Léo, Louis and Elie, and by a grandson Jerry. Visitation at Frenette Funeral Home Ltd., 396 Main St., Shediac (532-3297) on Friday, from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. and Saturday, from 9:30 a.m. until time of departure 10:20 a.m. Funeral Mass will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, January 5, 2008 at Our Lady of Mercy R.C.
