Patricia O'Blenes SALISBURY, NB - Patricia (Patty) Ann O'Blenes, 31, of Salisbury passed away Friday January 4, 2008 at the Victoria General Hospital, Halifax after a courageous battle with liver disease. Born in Moncton, she was a daughter of Grant and Shirley (Lewis) O'Blenes. She was a graduate of JMA Armstrong High School. At the onset of her illness she was a student at Atlantic Baptist University. Patty was a member of Second North River Baptist Church and belonged to the TOPS group in River Glade. Her gift of laughter and love of fun will be missed by all who knew her. Survived by her parents, Grant and Shirley of Salisbury; brothers, Jeff and Philip (Shelley) of Salisbury, Matthew (Wendy) of Calgary; sisters, Virginia Hopper of Salisbury, Rhonda O'Blenes (Randy Gagnon) of Quebec, Karen Masters (Jagade Rolls) of Moncton; her cherished nieces and nephews, Natasha Hopper, Sarah Nash (Nathan) and Stephany Moquin, BJ, Maxine and Sylvia Mitton, Paige O'Blenes, Gillian, Colleen, Kimberly and Daniel O'Blenes; aunts, uncles, cousins and many good friends. Resting at the Salisbury Funeral Home, 3350 Salisbury Road (372-4800) with visiting Monday 6-9 p.m. The Funeral will be held from the Funeral Home Chapel on Tuesday, January 8 at 4 p.m. with Pastor Mark Hunter officiating. Interment at the Monteagle Cemetery at a later date.
