Stanislas Richard 1911 - 2008 RICHIBUCTO, NB - Stanislas Richard, 96, husband of the late Eva (Robichaud) Richard, of Richibucto, NB, passed away at La Villa Maria, St. Louis de Kent on Wednesday, February 6th, 2008. Born in St. Louis de Kent, NB, he was the son of the late Benoni Richard and the late Marguerite (Barrieau) Richard. He was retired, he had worked as a carpenter. He attended St. Louis de Gonzague Roman Catholic Church, Richibucto and was a member of the Golden Age Club. Stanislas and Éva had ten children, Claire Richard, Élise Robichaud (Paul-Émile), Valérie Parent (Robert), Lucie Robicheau (Bruce), Robert (Rosa), Omer (Clare), Michel (Lucie-Anne), Ulysse (Claudette), Marcelin deceased 1944, Antoinette deceased 1953; 20 grandchildren, Richard, Josée, Henri-Pierre, Lynn, Guy, Pierre, Jean-Marc, Joline, Charlotte, Gabriel, Nathalie, Rachèle, Monique, Denis, Glenn, Mario, Sophie, Marie-Paule, Alain and Colette; 24 great grand- children, Marie-Frédrique, Iannick, Patrick, René, Rebecca, Zacharie, Benjamin, Bethany, Claude, Erica, Cassandra, Kristal, Veronique, Simone, Zoe, Austin, Jacob, Maxime, Simon, Chloé, Ève, Luc, Mitchell and Evan; sister, Léonie Gionet. He was predeceased by brothers and sisters, Gonzague, Élodie, Amanda, Camille, Claira, Nazaire, Édouard, Léonie and Delphin. Resting at Thompson's Funeral Home, Richibucto with visitation on Thursday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 PM, Friday from Noon until time of funeral. The Funeral Mass will be held at St. Louis de Gonzague Roman Catholic Church, Richibucto on Friday, February 8th, 2008 at 2:00 PM. Interment will take place in the spring.
