Jeanette Snowdon BRITISH SETTLEMENT, NB - With her family by her side, Jeanette Snowdon, age 63, of British Settlement, passed away peacefully at the Sackville Memorial Hospital, on Wednesday, February 6, 2008, after a lengthy illness. She was the daughter of the late Angus and Juletta Tower of Rockport. Jeanette enjoyed spending time at her cottage and with her grandchildren. She was a great inspiration to others with cancer. She is survived by her husband of 43 years, Benjamin Snowdon; four daughters, Norma (Brian) Sears, Angela (Ralph) Tower, Rhonda (Edward) Wells, all of Sackville, and Teresa (Michael) Kennerson of Caroline, AB; six grandchildren, Justin, Jessica, Jordan, Alysha, Colby, and Cory; three brothers, Wayne (Sharon) Tower, Dwight (Laura) Tower, both of Sackville, and Eric (Evelyn) Tower of Hamilton, ON.; as well as several nieces and nephews. Besides her parents, Jeanette was predeceased by a sister, Maryann LeBlanc, and one brother Allan Tower. Visitation will be held at the Jones Funeral Home, 70 Bridge Street, Sackville, (364-1300) on Friday, February 8, 2008, from 2 to 4 pm and 7 to 9 pm. A funeral service will be held from the funeral home on Saturday, February 9, at 2 pm, Pastor Ryan Skaling officiating.
