Paul A. Bourque 1918 - 2008 Paul A. Bourque, 89, of the Veteran Health Center, and formerly of Donovan Terrace, Moncton passed away at his residence on Tuesday, February 19, 2008 following a brief illness. Born October 30, 1918 in Bouctouche, he was the son of the late Méthode and Marie (Cormier) Bourque. He served in Italy and France with the Royal Canadian Army, Princess Louise Dragoons Guards during the second World War. Paul was an entrepreneur. He developed The Palissade Apartments, Maple Grove Village and many personal residences throughout the Moncton area. He was a long standing member of the Beausejour Curling Club and the Club Boishebert in Shediac. He is survived by six daughters, Paula Nowlan of Calgary, AB, Lynn Bourque (Sandy Jones) of Moncton, Michelle Little (David) of Elgin, Susan Bourque of Shediac, Andrea Petersen of Ottawa, ON, Joanne Watters (Brent) of Petawawa, ON; two sons, Patrick (Norma) and Paul J. both of Moncton; three sisters, Carmelite (Jean) Collins of Virginia, Carmen (Richard) Levine of Australia, Irène Bourque of Ottawa, ON; thirteen grandchildren, David (Green),Chris, Andrew, Jenna, Allyson (Peter Moore), Laura, David, Cynthia, Nathan, Andreas, Kyle, Breanne, Carrie, and Sarah; one great grandchild; and by several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his wife, Rosemary Lee (Shellenberger) Bourque (1973); infant son, David Lee (1961); six brothers, René, Lemuel, Phillipe, Louis-Félix, André "Butler" and Bernard. Visitation at Frenette Funeral Home Ltd., 88 Church St., Moncton (858-1900) on Thursday, from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. and Friday, from 2 p.m. until time of departure (2:50p.m.). Funeral mass will be held at 3p.m. on Friday, February 22, 2008 at the Assumption Cathedral Roman Catholic Church, St-George St, Moncton. Interment will be in Our Lady of Calvary cemetery.
