Dorothy J. Hawkes 1918 - 2008 Dorothy Jean Hawkes of Stoney Creek passed away at The Moncton Hospital on February 20th, 2008, after a lengthy illness. She was born in Sunny Brae, the daughter of the late Edwin Fielding (1968) and Mary (Madore) Fielding (1975). She was predeceased by her husband, Chester H. Hawkes (1988); her sisters, Eliza Fielding (1924), Mary Emily Fielding (1962), Alice Abel (1993) and Florence White (2007); her brothers, Clarence Fielding (1968), John Fielding (1984) and William Fielding (1991). Dorothy is survived by her sister, Alberta Smith of Kentucky; her children, Marilyn Tower of Riverview, Lois MacLean of Lebanon, Ct., Darlene M. Hennessy (Dean) of Berlin, Ma. and Michael MacLean of Stoney Creek; her grandchildren, Jamie Tower of Riverview, David MacLean of Erie, Pa., Marion Murphy of New Canaan, Ct., Veronica Leger of Cambridge, Ma., M. Todd MacLean and Susan MacLean of Boundry Creek and Sandra MacLean of Australia as well as six great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Resting at Fair Haven Funeral Home, 1177 Salisbury Road, Moncton (506) 852-3530 with visitation on Sunday February 24th, 2008 from 2:00 to 4:00 pm and 7:00 to 9:00 pm. Funeral service will be held from the Chapel of Fair Haven Funeral Home on Monday February 25th, 2008 at 2:00 pm followed by a reception in the Garden View Reception Room.
