Lillian M. Gallant
Lillian M. Gallant 1931-2008 Lillian M. Gallant, of Lockhart Ave., Moncton, born June 22, 1931 in Hartford, Connecticut USA, was called home to God on February 21st, 2008 at the age of 76 following a brief battle with cancer. She was the daughter of the late John and Joseline (LeBlanc) LeBlanc and was predeceased by her husband, Wilfred (1975); one brother, John J. LeBlanc (2004); and by two sisters, Elizabeth "Betty" and Elaine LeBlanc. Lillian will be sadly missed by her sons, Marc (Nadia) of Moncton and Paul of Regina, Saskatchewan; her three grandchildren, Amanda, Jason and Alexander. She was employed with Zeller's Inc. and retired in 1986 after 34 years of service, ultimately achieving the position of store manager. In her younger years, Lillian loved to sing, play the piano and always enjoyed a game of cards. She was a devout and loving wife, mother, grandmother and had many cherished friendships. She inspired and touched many lives and her memory will be forever engraved in our hearts. Heartfelt thanks to all the Staff in the Palliative Care unit at the Moncton Hospital, for they are true angels in the care that they provide. The family will receive relatives and friends on Saturday, March 1st, 2008 from 9 a.m. until time of Chapel Service at 11 a.m. at Frenette Funeral Home Ltd., 88 Church St., Moncton (858-1900).
