Edouard Allain 1918 - 2008 Edouard Allain, age 89, of Bouctouche Bay, passed away after a brief illness at the Dr Georges L Dumont Hospital on Monday, February 25th, 2008. Married to Stella (Melanson) Allain, he was born in Bouctouche on July 27th, 1918 to the late Ludger and the late Annie (LeBlanc) Allain. Edouard is survived by his wife Stella; one daughter, Estelle Allain; two sons, Guy (Bernice), Claude (Pauline) all of Bouctouche; four grand children; Alex, Patrick, Christopher, Dylan and several nephews and nieces. He was predeceased by two brothers, Francois and Amand. Edouard worked on his farm for most of his life except for the last 15 years of his working life, where he worked as a lawn caretaker for the Irving Company in Bouctouche Visitation will be held at the Maillet Funeral Home Ltd., 29 rue de l'église, Bouctouche on Wednesday February 27th from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9, and Thursday from 2 to 4 and 5:30 to 6:45 pm. Funeral Mass will be held on Thursday February 28th, 2008 at the Saint-Jean Baptiste Roman Catholic Church, Bouctouche at 3:00 pm. Interment will be in the parish cemetery in the spring.
