Gabrielle Cormier 1924 - 2008 Gabrielle Cormier, nee Chiasson, passed away suddenly in her home on the 29th February 2008 at the age of 83. Born on December 6th, 1924 in Edmunston NB, the daughter of the late Alphonse Chiasson and Marie-Louise Blanchard, she is survived by her daughter, Simone (Lorne) Preston, her sons, Gregoire (Kathy), Julien and Gaetan. Six beloved grand children Deny, Nicole, Renée, Danielle, Liselle and Benjamin, and a great grand son Louka. In her own family she was predeceased by sisters, Hermance, Alberte, Georgette and Gaetane. Also passed away before her, were brothers, Gilles, Jean Charles and Rodrigue. In keeping with Gabrielle's wishes there will be no visitation. A memorial service for family and close friends will be held at a later date.
