Rosanne Poirier 1924 - 2008 Rosanne Poirier, age 84, of Villa Providence Inc., Shediac and formerly of Saint-Edouard de Kent, passed away after a lengthy illness at the Villa Providence Inc., Shediac on Saturday, March 1, 2008. Married to Willie Poirier, she was born in Bouctouche on January 7, 1924 to the late Cyrille and the late Mecthilde (Savoie) Poirier. Rosanne is survived by her husband, Willie; three daughters, Diane Richard (Léo-Paul), Marie-Jeanne LeBlanc (Francis), Louisa Poirier (Norm) all of Cocagne; six sons, Paul-Emile (Lorraine) of Sainte-Marie de Kent, Albert (Rachel) of Saint-Norbert, Jean-Eudes (Claire), Bernard (Jeannine) both of Saint-Edouard de Kent, Roger (Donna) of Miramichi, Mario (Rachel) of Saint-Maurice; 17 grandchildren; two brothers, Willie (Florida), André (Noëlla) both of Baie de Bouctouche; and several nephews and nieces. Rosanne was predeceased by one son, Joseph Bernard; six brothers, Omer, Laurie, Aldéo, Tom, Albert, Cyrille. Visitation will be held at the Sainte-Anne de Kent Roman Catholic Church Slumber Room on Monday March 3rd, from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 and Tuesday from 9 to 10:45 a.m. Funeral Mass will be held at the Sainte-Anne de Kent Roman Catholic Church on Tuesday, March 4th at 11:00 a.m. Interment will be in the parish cemetery in the spring. In Rosanne's memory, donations can be made to the NB Lung Association or to the Heart and Stroke Foundation.
