John Keith Dutcher John Keith Dutcher, 83, of Jacksonville Beach, Florida passed away on Monday, March 3, 2008 peacefully at home surrounded by his family. Keith was born on May 19, 1924 in Loggieville, New Brunswick, Canada to George E. and Margaret M. Dutcher. While growing up in Canada he was a farmer and began his career as a carpenter at a young age. At age 17, Keith joined the Canadian Army and left to serve in World War II. After returning from the war, he began his carpentry business and later married Wanda L. Carter on July 9, 1948. In 1960 they moved to Jacksonville Beach, Florida. He was a former member and Deacon of Palms Presbyterian Church. Keith was also a Mason and Shriner. He was a contractor for 60 years. During that time he owned and operated Dutcher Builders. He was part of the Jacksonville Beach community for the past 48 years. He is survived by his beloved wife Wanda L. Dutcher, eight children, Isabel (Lee) Eldon, Byron (Janice) Marilyn (Vernon), Lois (Jim), Austin (Shirley), Garth (Leslie), his twenty grandchildren: and seven great-grandchildren: He is also survived by his sisters, Anna Hilburn, Norma (Charles) Dickison, sister-in-laws, Jean Dutcher and Shirley Dutcher all of New Brunswick, Canada. He is predeceased by his father George Dutcher, mother, Margaret MacDonald, sister, Elizabeth Dutcher, his brothers, Robert Dutcher and William Dutcher of New Brunswick, Canada. A memorial service to honor his life will be held on Monday, March 10th at 4:00pm at Beaches Chapel Church. He will be sorely missed and always in our hearts.
