Clarence (Kyte) Gaudet 1941 - 2008 GRANDE-DIGUE, N.B. - Clarence (Kyte) Gaudet, 66, passed away peacefully, surrounded by his ever loving family, at the Moncton City Hospital, after a courageous battle with cancer. Born in St-Paul-de-Kent, on August 12th, 1941, he was the son of the late Eloi Gaudet, and his mother the late Adeline MacDonald He was a retired Moncton City employee, also worked at MacLean Church Supply Store. He attended La Visitation de Gande-Digue Church and was a member of Notre-Dame de Grâce Roman Catholic Church, Parkton; Chevalier de Colomb Conseil 6468, Parkton; Club d'Age d'Or de Grande-Digue; Club d'Age d'Or de Notre-Dame de Grâce, Parkton. He was a great fan of the Montreal Canadians; liked bowling, playing cards and darts. He is survived by his wife, Christine Gaudet; two daughters, Charline Hébert (Fernand) of Dieppe and Louise Richard (Paul) of Moncton; one son, Michel Gaudet (Krista) of Grande-Digue; five sisters, Rosanna Vautour (Camille) of Grande-Digue, Gloria Gallant (Roger), Elise Mogan (Edward), Claudette Gaudet and Bernice Blank all from Moncton; three brothers, Frank Gaudet (Linda) of Moncton, Regis Gaudet (Diana) of Cap-Pelé and Paul Gaudet (Anne) of Moncton; seven grandchildren, Julien, Véronique, Patrick, Joel, Mathieu, Brenden and Cassidy. He was predeceased by one sister, Alberte Doucet Resting at Coopérative Funéraire Passage Funeral Co-operative, 3754, Route 134, Shediac Bridge with visiting hours Sunday, March 9th, from 2 to 4 pm and 7 to 9 pm. Funeral Service to be held at Notre-Dame-de-Grâce, Parkton, on Monday, March 10th, 11:00 am. There will be no viewing on Monday. Interment at the La Visitation parish cemetery a later date in the spring. Donations to the Canadian Cancer Society; Heart & Stroke Foundation or donor's choice would be appreciated by the family.
