Donna E. Carroll 1952 - 2008 Donna E. Carroll, age 55 years, of Riverview, passed away at The Moncton Hospital on Saturday, March 8th, 2008, following a courageous six and a half year battle with breast cancer. Born on May 8th, 1952; in Sydney Mines, NS; she was a daughter of the late William and Mary (Mackenzie) Taylor. Donna was a devoted wife and mother, she enjoyed knitting, crafting, and cooking for her loving family. She will be sadly missed by her husband, John L. Carroll; daughter, Elaine and her husband Patrick Russell of Riverview; son, Michael Carroll of Kingston ON; sister, Norma and her husband Dr. George Boyd of Sydney Forks NS; brother, Dr. Bill Taylor and his wife Carol or Riverview; also by several nieces and nephews. Visitation is at the Riverview Funeral Home, 214 Pine Glen Road Riverview, NB on Monday March 10th, 2008 from 7:00 to 9:00 pm. Funeral service will be held at Riverview Funeral Home on Tuesday, March 11, 2008 at 1:30 pm with Fr. Bernard Sloan officiating. Interment will be in Immaculate Conception Parish Cemetery, Sydney Mines, NS in the spring. Donations in memory of Donna made to Friends of the Moncton Hospital "Palliative Care" would be appreciated by her family.
