John Edward George Clark John Edward George Clark, 96, of The Briarlea and formerly of Riverview, with his loving family at his side, passed away peacefully at The Moncton Hospital on Saturday March 8, 2008. Born in Woodstock, John was the son of the late George Franklin and Anna (Lee) Clark. John was a retired banker with RBC. He was an honorary lifetime member of The Moncton Press Club, an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed hunting, fishing, snowmobiling and riding his ATV at the camp in Albert County, but first and foremost he enjoyed spending quality time with his loving family and friends. John will be sadly missed by his loving daughters, Carol Lee Rowan (Paul), Riverview, Anne Brooks (Frank), Riverview; grandchildren, Jamie Breau (Cindy), Hamilton, ON, Tim Brooks (Erica), Mineville, NS, Lisa Embree (Kevin), Moncton, Leeanne Matthews (Darrell), Moncton, Julie Embree (Mark), Saint John, NB; two great-grandchildren, Alexander and Carter Breau; son-in-law, Gerald (Jer) Trites, Heatherton, NS; two sisters-in-law, Rita Breau and Betty Fogarty, both of Moncton. He was the last surviving member of his immediate family. In addition to his parents, John was predeceased by his wife, Catherine (Breau) Clark (May 2004); daughter, Sue Trites (Oct. 2007). Visitation at Ferguson Knowles Funeral Home, 1657 Mountain Rd., Moncton (858-1995), Monday 7 to 9 pm. Parish prayers and Sharing of Memories, 8:30 pm. Funeral Mass at St. Bernard's Roman Catholic Church, Tuesday, March 11, 2008, 12 pm, Rev. Allison Carroll officiating. Reception following the mass. Interment, Our Lady of Calvary Cemetery, Dieppe.
