John W. Crawford 1925-2008 John Crawford of Moncton passed away at The Moncton Hospital on Wednesday, March 12th, 2008. Born in Sackville, NB on September 29th, 1925, he was the son of the late Basil and Frances R. (Hicks) Crawford. John was a Veteran serving overseas during the Second World War, and retired from the CNR following many years of service. He is survived by his sister in law, Joyce Crawford; nephews, Kim, Craig, Michael, Murray, Donald, and Bill and a niece, Beth. In addition to his parents he was predeceased by brothers, Robert and Donald, and sister Dorothy. Resting at Fair Haven Funeral Home, with visitation on Saturday, March 15th from 10-11 am. The funeral service will be held in the funeral home chapel at 11:00 am, followed by a reception in the Garden View Room. Interment in Fair Haven Memorial Gardens, Field Of Honor.
