Shirley Marina Oxley June 11,1938 - March 13, 2008 We would like to announce the passing of Shirley Oxley on March 13th, 2008 at The Moncton Hospital. Shirley was a telephone operator in both Amherst, NS and Moncton, NB for 35 years. She loved spending time with Donald, her dear companion of 42 years, knitting, cooking, needle point and coming "down home" to see family. She will be greatly missed by Donald; brothers, Eric (Jane) Oxley-Stirling, AB, Aubrey (Gertha) Oxley, Truro, NS, Phillip (Carolyn) Oxley - Brownsville, Ont., Gary (Muriel) Oxley-Woodstock, Ont., Gerald -Wallace, NS, Wayne-Taber, AB; and "special sister" Kelly (Carl) Morrison-N. Wallace, NS.; brother in law, Jack Grattan-Pictou, NS; as well as Donald's children and grandchildren and Shirley's caregiver, Judy. Her girls "Carly and Cassidy" Morrison will miss her visits, hugs and kisses. She was predeceased by parents, Murdock and Altha Oxley; brother, Arnold Oxley; sisters, Lorraine Grattan and Helen Langille; sister in laws, Dale and Irene Oxley; nephew, Ronnie Oxley; and brother in law, Douglas Langille. Cremation to take place and a visitation will be held at Fair Haven Funeral Home in Moncton, NB from 2-4 pm on Saturday, March 15, 2008. A memorial service will be held at St. Andrews United Church in Fox Harbour, NS on Sunday, March 16, 2008 at 2pm. Donations may be made to a charity of your choice.
