Howard Rex Vidito Howard Rex Vidito, 86, of Kingston, passed away Wednesday, March 19, 2008 in Soldiers Memorial Hospital, Middleton. Born in Bloomington, Annapolis County, he was a son of the late John Nelson and Annie Laura (Judge) Vidito. Howard was a veteran of the Second World War where he served with the Princess Louise Fusiliers, B Company from 1941 to 1945. He retired from O. H. Armstrong Ltd., Kingston. Howard was a member of Branch 98 Royal Canadian Legion Kingston. He is survived by daughter, Nancy Anne (Remmy) Floris, Prince George, BC; son, Wayne Philip Vidito (Germaine LeBlanc), Shediac River, NB; sisters, Ruby Bennett, Auburn, Barbara Ridgeway, Greenwood; grandchildren, Amanda and Rion; and one great grandchild. He was predeceased by his wife, the former Marguerite Haché; sisters, Jean Wilson, Dorothy Pierce, Mildred Hiltz, Violet Dempsey; and brother, Frederick. Visitation will be held 7-9PM, Thursday, March 20, 2008 in the Middleton Funeral Home, 398 Main Street, (902) 825-3448, beginning at 7:00PM with a Legion Tribute conducted by Royal Canadian Legion Branch #98 Kingston. A graveside service will be held at a later date in Our Lady of Calvary Cemetery, Dieppe, NB. Donations in memory may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society or Charity of Choice.
