Alfreda LeBlanc 1929 - 2008 BOUCTOUCHE, NB - Alfreda LeBlanc, age 78, of Bouctouche, passed away on Sunday March 30th, 2008 at the Dr Georges L. Dumont Hospital, Moncton after a brief illness. Married to the late Alphonse LeBlanc (1976), she was born in Bouctouche on December 3rd, 1929, to the late Jacques and the late Virginie (Léger) Cormier. She was employed as a patient attendant at the Manoir Saint-Jean Baptiste, Bouctouche for 11 years, and was a member of the Bouctouche Golden age club. Alfreda is survived by four sons, Rhéal (Claudette) of Framingham, MA, Roger (Melissa) of Newton, MA, Emery (Trina) of Lake Wales, FL, Jacques (Karen) of Hudson, MA; three sisters, Rita LeBlanc, Lina Hébert both of Bouctouche, Yvonne Melanson (Gerald) of Ayer, MA; one brother, Antoine of Bouctouche; nine grandchildren, nine great grandchildren, and several nephews and nieces. She was predeceased, by one son, Donald in infancy; one brother, Cléophas (1977); and two sisters, Géraldine (1998), Alice (2007). Visitation will be held at the Maillet Funeral Home Ltd., 29 rue de l'église, Bouctouche on Wednesday April 2nd, from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 and Thursday from 1 to 2:45 pm. Funeral Mass will be held at the Saint-Jean Baptiste Roman Catholic Church, Bouctouche on Thursday April 3rd, 2008 at 3:00 pm. Interment will be in the parish cemetery in the spring.
