Albertine (Daigle) Gallant 1913 - 2008 SOURIS, PEI - Albertine Gallant (née) Daigle passed away peacefully at the Colville Manor in Souris on Tuesday March 25th, 2008 at the age of 94. Born in St. Louis de Kent she was the daughter of the late John Daigle and Elizabeth Guimond. Beloved wife of the late Alban (Bing) Gallant (2003). She is survived by a son, Maurice; two daughters-in-law and six grandchildren; four sisters, Alma Blanchard, Moncton N.B., Antoinette Cormier, Ottawa, Ont., Yvette Doiron, Charlottetown, PEI, Cecile (Georges) Poirier, Grande-Digue; sisters-in-law, Gilberte Daigle, St. John, N.B., and Clarisse Gallant, Souris, PEI. Predeceased by her eldest son, George (2002); parents John and Elizabeth (née Guimond); four brothers, Father Alyre Daigle, Arthur, Eloi and Aurele; three sisters, Laura Doiron, Lina LeBlanc, Sister Maria Daigle CND; Infant sisters, Rita and Regina. Funeral mass was celebrated in RoloBay by Father Floyd Gallant, Saturday, March 29th.
