Lumina Caissie, R.N. 1916 - 2008 Lumina Caissie, R.N., 91, wife of the late Léandre Caissie passed away suddenly on Monday, April 7, 2008 at O'Bons Soins Residence, Shediac. Born September 27, 1916 in Shediac, she was the daughter of the late Adolphe and Albina (Boudreau) Vautour. Prior to her retirement, Lumina was a retired registered nurse at the Villa Providence, Shediac. She will be sadly missed by her two daughters: Annette Cormier (Robert) of Deux Montagnes, QC, Charline Alexander (Allan) of Campbellton; two step-sons: Georges Caissie (Valda) of Moncton, Louis Caissie (Mary) of Fredericton; three sisters: Régina Ménard (late Marcel) of Montréal, QC, Sister Albina Vautour, Little Sisters of the Assumption, Hastings on Hudson, N. Y., Sister Clara Vautour, n.d.s.c. of Moncton; three grandchildren: Marc, Jennifer, Holly; one great grandson Benjamin, one special niece, Francine Léger (Fred) of Shediac, and by several step-grandchildren and step great grandchildren. She was predeceased by her 1st husband, Damien Cormier (1966), her 2nd husband, Léandre Caissie (2007), one sister, Edna Boudreau, and by four brothers: Father Camille Vautour, Léo, Philibert and Hervé Vautour. The family will receive relatives and friends at Frenette Funeral Home Ltd., 396 Main St., Shediac (532-3297) on Thursday, from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. and Friday, from 9 a.m. until time of departure 10:20 a.m. Funeral mass will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Friday, April 11, 2008 at Saint Joseph Roman Catholic Church, Shediac.
