Violet E. Read 1921-2008 Violet Ellen Read of Riverview passed away at The Moncton Hospital on April 15th, 2008, after a sudden illness. She was born in Moncton, N.B., the daughter of the late Margaret Pearl Gamble and Edward Gamble. Violet was known for enjoying her nights out at Bingo, knitting, and watching her game shows. She was predeceased by her husband, Reginald W. Read; brothers, Austin and Bill Gamble, and sister, Eileen Cain. Violet is survived by her sons, Loyall (Carol) Read, Gary Read, Bryan (Cathy) Read; daughters, Peggy (Graham) Read, Eileen (Raymond) Blakney, Belinda (Michael) Roth. Violet is also survived by her 19 grandchildren, 26 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Resting at Fair Haven Funeral Home on Thursday April 17th, 2008 from 2:00 to 4:00 pm and 7:00 to 9:00 pm. Funeral service will be held from the Chapel of Fair Haven Funeral Home on Friday April 18th, 2008 at 10:30 am followed by a reception in the Garden View Reception Room.
