Catherine "Kay" A. Cummings RN 1922 - 2008 Catherine "Kay" A. Cummings, of Moncton, passed away at The Moncton Hospital on Thursday, April 17th, 2008 at the age of 86. Born in Clyde Station, PEI on April 8th, 1922, she was the youngest daughter of the late Everett and Sadie MacLeod. She was a member of Lakeburn United Church and she was a life member of the Miriam Bishop U.C.W. Catherine graduated from the Prince County Hospital, Summerside, PEI with an R.N. Degree in 1945. Left with fond memories are her sons, Garth Cummings of Shediac and Craig Cummings of Moncton; as well as two nieces; one nephew and several cousins. Besides her parents she was predeceased by her husband, Garfield Cummings in 1992; a sister, Jean and a brother, Sterling. In Keeping with Catherine's wishes there will be no viewing, visitation or funeral service. Interment will be in Hartsville Cemetery, Hartsville, PEI at a later date.
