Joyce Loretta Hambrook The death of Joyce Loretta Hambrook widow of Floyd Hambrook of Blackville, NB, occurred peacefully at her home on Tuesday, April 22, 2008 with family and friends by her side at the age of 75. Born in Blackville, NB, Joyce was the daughter of the late Alexander and Lola (Walls) Grady. Joyce was a homemaker, member of Blackville Women's Institute, Secretary-Treasurer of the Blackville Historical Society, Past Chairperson of Blackville's Boy Scouts Group Committee and Faithful volunteer for many local community services. Joyce is survived by two daughters, Gwen of California and Ellen of Edmonton, AB; five sons, Terry and Grady of Miramichi, NB, Phillip of Fredericton, NB, Calvin of Toronto, ON and Jeff of Blackville, NB; twelve grandchildren, Christopher, Dana, Evan, Jamie, Jason, Alex, Joshua, Marcus, Skylar, Adam, Daniel and Ben; four great grandchildren, Abbey, Noah, Kali and Nathan; and several nieces and nephews. Family will receive visitors at The Lady Chapel of the Holy Trinity Anglican Church, Blackville on Thursday from 7 to 9 and Friday 2 to 4 and 7 to 9. Funeral Service will be held from the Holy Trinity Anglican Church, Blackville, NB on Saturday, April 26, 2008 at 11 AM with Father Douglas Barrett officiating. Burial will take place in the Holy Trinity Anglican Cemetery later in the spring. Predeceased by sister, Ida Walls and infant sister, Norma Grady. In Joyce's memory a donation may be made to The Holy Trinity Anglican Church Memorial Fund, Arthritis Society or the NB Extra Mural Program. Funeral arrangements are under the care of Bell's Funeral Home, 651 King George Highway, Miramichi, NB Telephone 506-622-3600.
